President Yoon: "Resolve the Overemphasis on Lawyer Exam Subjects in Law School Education"
On the afternoon of the 24th, President Yoon Suk-yeol held a luncheon meeting with representatives of the Council of Law Schools at the Yongsan Presidential Office. At this meeting, President Yoon listened to academic opinions on the direction of improvements in the legal education system.
At the meeting, President Yoon said, "We will review legal personnel and education policies to resolve the current education bias focused on bar exam subjects and to cultivate legal professionals in various specialized fields."
He continued, "We will carefully manage policies to diversify scholarship systems and expand student loan programs so that students in difficult circumstances can study not only at law schools but also in other undergraduate departments."
