Gokseong-gun Operates Customized Party Planner Training Program for Rural Areas

The Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation (Chairman Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it has been selected for the Jeollanam-do City and County Lifelong Education Activation Project and will operate the ‘2023 Visiting Party Planner Training Course’ starting from the 26th.

The ‘Party Planner Training Course’ will be held a total of six times every Saturday at the Gokseong Leisure Culture Center, under the guidance of professional instructors from the Korea Party Event Association.

This training course focuses on planning various social gatherings, reflecting recent trends and the characteristics of rural areas.

In addition to theoretical education covering the basic concepts of parties, planning, and case studies, various practical sessions such as table styling according to party themes, florist activities, and catering will be conducted.

Participants will gain experience in preparation and participation at a joint festival site upon completing the course, and support will be provided to obtain the Level 2 Party Planner professional certification.

A foundation official stated, “Recently, there has been great interest in party and event-related industries and professions even in rural areas. Through this party planner training, we aim to provide new business ideas to rural communities and strengthen the capabilities of local residents through our foundation’s specialized education.”
