Kim Cheol-ho, Head of District 38 in Hwagok 1-dong, and Yoon Dae-gyu, CEO of Hyanggi Marketing Company, Visit Vulnerable Households with Poor Living Conditions and Conduct Antibacterial and Disinfection Work at Their Own Expense

Despite the continuing hot weather, some people quietly carry out volunteer disinfection activities, drawing attention.
The main figures are Kim Cheol-ho, head of district 38 at the Hwagok 1-dong Community Service Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and Yoon Dae-gyu, CEO of Hyanggi Marketing Company.
They met as parents of their children and operate a business related to deodorants and deodorizers together. Utilizing their resources, they started volunteer disinfection work in July to help improve the poor living conditions of low-income elderly residents living in Hwagok 1-dong.
When the Hwagok 1-dong Community Service Center, in cooperation with the local senior welfare center, identifies low-income households with poor living environments, Kim Cheol-ho and Yoon Dae-gyu, along with community service center staff, visit the households to carry out sterilization and pest control work.
Currently, they provide services to 1 to 2 households per month and plan to gradually increase the number of supported households.
Kim Cheol-ho said, "I feel proud to help block pests that have increased due to the rainy season and heatwave," adding, "I will continue disinfection activities for the residents of Hwagok 1-dong as long as I can."
