HectoFinancial to Participate in Korea Fintech Week... "Showcasing Customized Kiosks"
Techfin company Hecto Financial announced on the 24th that it will participate in Korea's largest fintech industry expo, ‘Korea Fintech Week 2023,’ held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) starting on the 30th, to promote its new growth engine, the kiosk business.
Now in its fifth year, Korea Fintech Week shares global fintech trends under the theme ‘Meeting the Future of Fintech’ and provides participating companies with opportunities to promote their business models and attract investment.
Hecto Financial will operate a booth in the ‘Fintech Pavilion’ under the theme ‘The Future of Payment in the Big Blur Era.’ It will showcase five types of ‘custom kiosks’ tailored to the characteristics of its business and services: ▲hospital kiosks ▲library lift kiosks ▲unmanned laundromat kiosks ▲civil service issuance kiosks ▲mobile kiosks.
The ‘hospital kiosk’ supports everything from reception and payment to prescription printing, reducing the workload of hospital reception staff. The ‘library lift kiosk’ features adjustable screen height to enhance convenience for wheelchair users, contributing to public welfare. The ‘unmanned laundromat kiosk’ supports selecting washing machines, payment, and even a point service to secure loyal customers. The ‘civil service issuance kiosk’ enables one-stop inquiry, issuance, and printing of various civil documents. The ‘mobile kiosk’ uses QR codes to allow customers to order and pay via their phones, eliminating customer queues.
Hecto Financial supplies kiosk devices together with PG (Payment Gateway) solutions, creating synergy between hardware and software. The kiosks supplied by Hecto Financial are manufactured by Samsung Electronics and use Windows as the operating system (OS). Thanks to this, both online and offline card payment systems (VAN and PG) can be applied. Customized UI (user interface) can be provided for each merchant. Additionally, Hecto Financial offers faster settlement and integrated settlement regardless of card type compared to other companies when providing PG services, helping merchants manage their funds efficiently.
