The Cool Korea Challenge is a relay challenge created with the purpose of saving cooling energy by wearing casual attire during summer work hours. It proceeds by having the nominated person designate the next participant, and currently, the participation of leaders from various fields is encouraging nationwide involvement.
CEO Lee joined the challenge wearing casual clothes along with employees after being nominated by Kim Won-tae, CEO of the education company D-Share. He then nominated Park Ki-hong, CEO of Baeum's Communication (Baekom), which provides the academy-type cloud platform "Rellies," as the next participant in the challenge.
CEO Lee said, "Small actions in daily life that can be easily overlooked can lead to significant changes in saving energy and ultimately protecting our environment," adding, "We will continue to carry out company-wide eco-friendly campaigns to become a leading company that considers the future of the Earth where children will live."
