LG Electronics to Sequentially Launch 'StandbyME Go' in North America and Europe

LG Electronics announced on the 23rd that it will launch the 'LG StanbyME Go (model name: 27LX5)' in the North American and European markets. Starting with North America this month, the product will be expanded to major European countries such as the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain from next month.
LG StanbyME Go is a new-concept lifestyle screen that allows users to freely enjoy content not only in indoor spaces such as living rooms or bedrooms but also outdoors in places like parks and campsites. It sold out consecutively right after its release. Featuring a 27-inch screen, stand, speaker, and battery all built into a ready-bag style travel case design, it also offers features such as table mode, which allows the screen to be rotated horizontally or vertically or laid flat depending on the viewing environment.

Ahead of its launch, overseas media have also highlighted the unique features of LG StanbyME Go, expressing high expectations. US IT media Digital Trends said, "We have never seen a TV that you can carry in a travel bag," while another IT media outlet, The Verge, described it as "a product we have been waiting to experience and review firsthand." The German Home Electronics and Telecommunications Association (GFU) noted, "TVs are now moving out of corners and transforming into furniture worth appreciating," emphasizing the growing importance of TV design alongside recent changes in customers' lifestyles.
From the 1st to the 5th of next month, LG Electronics plans to showcase lifestyle experiences using StanbyME Go, StanbyME, and LG OLED Objet Collection Pose at IFA 2023, Europe’s largest electronics exhibition held at Messe Berlin. The launch countries for Pose are planned to expand from the current 12 countries to over 40 this year. StanbyME is also currently being sold not only in major European countries but also in North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, starting from the Asian region.
