"My Front: Gravel Field and Muddy Swamp"… Essay by Jo Guk to be Published on the 30th
Publisher Dasan Books announced on the 21st that the essay "Dike's Tears" written by former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk will be published on the 30th.
The publisher introduced the book as "a book that condenses the time of struggle that Cho Kuk, as a private individual, faced with his whole body while going through the stormy times of the past 10 years."
The Dike appearing in the book title is the goddess who presides over the law. In the prologue, former Minister Cho said, "The 'goddess of justice' Dike is not a figure who wildly swings a sword like a brute, but always a calm figure who values balance and equity," and "I believe that Dike is a deity who treats people with empathy and compassion, not a god who demands submission and obedience through the power of punishment."
