The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement for a gourmet promotion with 'KANESAKA Group,' one of Japan's largest sushi masters, marking the first time a domestic hotel has partnered with them. For this gourmet promotion, Chef Moon Kyung-hwan of 'Sushiya Shota,' the first Korean to receive a Michelin star in Japan, will visit.

The KANESAKA Group is a global Japanese fine dining company operating sushi and omakase restaurants worldwide, including in the UK and Singapore. Through this business agreement, from October 4th to 14th, Chef Moon Kyung-hwan of Sushiya Shota, a famous omakase restaurant under the KANESAKA Group, will visit Hakone, the Japanese fine dining restaurant at InterContinental Parnas, to conduct a special promotion. Sushiya Shota is a restaurant operated by Chef Moon Kyung-hwan, who was the first Korean to receive a Michelin star in the sushi category in Japan. It has been fully booked months in advance and is renowned as a restaurant that is difficult to experience even locally in Japan. The hotel stated, "Since Sushiya Shota received the Michelin star, and this is Chef Moon Kyung-hwan's first visit to Korea, there is great interest from gourmets both domestically and internationally."
