3 Consecutive Years of Revenue Growth
Recognized for Excellent ESG Performance
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation achieved first place nationwide in the local public enterprise management evaluation conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and was selected for the first time since its establishment as the highest grade, ‘Ga’ grade.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced the results of the 2022 local public enterprise management performance evaluation for local public enterprises nationwide, following the deliberation of the Local Public Enterprise Policy Committee.
This year, the evaluation reflected the innovation policy direction of local public institutions under the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, strengthening the assessment of local public enterprises' innovation efforts and financial soundness, and also evaluated public institutions' efforts to recover business performance following the transition to normalcy after COVID-19.
Gyeongbuk Development Corporation established a systematic management plan based on innovation led by the CEO, and received high evaluations for realizing a stable financial structure, such as increasing profits for three consecutive years despite the challenging environment caused by interest rate hikes and real estate market downturn.
