Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) held an integrity meeting chaired by the governor on the 21st at the county office situation room, attended by heads of departments and divisions, as well as town and township chiefs, to establish a foundation for anti-corruption efforts.

The governor-led integrity meeting was organized to secure momentum for promoting integrity policies and to improve Muan County's integrity by addressing corruption-prone areas.
According to the county on the 21st, the meeting proceeded in the following order: △ 2023 integrity policy direction △ 2023 integrity policy implementation status △ inspection of one integrity policy per department △ discussion on improvement measures for corruption-prone areas and ways to enhance integrity.
Key meeting topics included creating a platform for integrity communication using SNS, "Citizens' Safety as the Start of Integrity," and the selection and operation of integrity guardians. All 35 departments shared integrity policies tailored to their characteristics and discussed improvement plans for corruption-prone areas.
In particular, Mongtan-myeon operates a notable Integrity Communication Day, where before the monthly village chiefs' meeting, public officials read aloud an integrity pledge to publicly demonstrate their commitment to practicing integrity.
Governor Kim San stated, "Integrity is more about practice than words, and let us do our best to create a Muan where citizens can truly feel integrity."
