Jindo-gun Signs Business Agreement to Build AI Training Data for Water and Sewage Pipes
Using Artificial Intelligence Technology... Leakage Detection and Prediction of Water Supply and Sewer Pipes
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do recently signed a business agreement with Morphing Eye (CEO Kim Ki-young) to build AI training data for detecting and predicting leaks in water supply and sewage pipes.
According to the county on the 21st, this business agreement aims to build AI training data that can proactively respond to disasters by analyzing photos, videos, and sounds obtained from artificial intelligence robots inside water supply and sewage pipes.

By building AI training data, it is expected that integrating artificial intelligence technology into leak detection and prediction will find leak points that could not be discovered before and predict potential future leak points, achieving superior results compared to existing leak detection methods.
Additionally, the two institutions that signed the business agreement agreed to actively cooperate not only in detecting and predicting leaks in water supply and sewage systems but also in selecting target areas for water supply and sewage improvement projects and other necessary matters to provide high-quality public services.
A representative from Morphing Eye stated, “Through the business agreement with Jindo-gun, we will do our best to ensure that there is no inconvenience to the residents by accurately detecting and predicting leaks in the water supply and sewage systems.”
An official from the Environmental Water Quality Division of Jindo-gun said, “With this business agreement, we plan to actively reflect the aging and leak levels of water supply and sewage pipes in pipe improvement projects. Through building AI training data for water supply and sewage pipes, we will create a strong and safe Jindo by meticulously responding to disasters caused by various climate changes.”
