Yeongyang-gun to Distribute Farmer and Fisherman Allowances in the Second Half of This Year
Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will provide the 2023 'Second Half Farmers and Fishermen Allowance' of 300,000 KRW in Yeongyang Love Gift Certificates from August 23 to September 27 to maintain and enhance the public value of agriculture.
According to Yeongyang-gun, in the first half of this year, a total of 1.18 billion KRW was paid to 3,942 households, with 300,000 KRW per household, and in the second half, a total of 1.17 billion KRW will be paid to 3,907 households.
The recipients of the farmers and fishermen allowance are heads of households who qualify as farmers, foresters, or fishermen and have registered their agricultural or fishery business information by December 31, 2022, and have resided in the province for more than one year.
Selected recipients can receive the second half farmers and fishermen allowance (300,000 KRW in Yeongyang Love Gift Certificates) by bringing their ID to the local Nonghyup branch in their jurisdiction.
