40s Man Arrested for Spraying Face and Snatching Mobile Phone
A man in his 40s was arrested by the police after spraying a substance on a man’s face, assaulting him, and stealing his mobile phone while the victim was on his way home.
According to the police on the 21st, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul has detained and is investigating a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of robbery.
Mr. A is accused of waiting for a man in his 40s, Mr. B, who was returning home in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu, at around 10:50 p.m. the previous day, spraying his face with a spray, assaulting him, and then stealing his mobile phone.

The police, who responded to the report, arrested Mr. A at the scene around 11 p.m., just 10 minutes after the crime. The police stated, "We are investigating whether the suspect was known to the victim and whether Mr. A was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime."
