Puma celebrated its 75th anniversary by unveiling the '75th Anniversary Campaign' with NCT 127 on the 21st.
Through this campaign, Puma highlights the brand's heritage since its founding in 1948 by presenting the ‘75th Anniversary Sneakers Pack,’ consisting of three iconic models, and the ‘PUMA TEAM’ apparel collection, which reinterprets the retro mood of the 2000s.
The 75th Anniversary Sneakers Pack includes Puma's iconic models: the Clyde, PUMA-180, and Capri Royale, featuring navy as the main colorway that emphasizes a classic mood. The Clyde is a sneaker created for the legendary basketball player Walt "Clyde" Frazier, inspired by fashion, culture, and basketball, and is an archive model celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
The PUMA-180 is a modern reinterpretation of a design inspired by the skateboarding archives, characterized by a chunky silhouette and oversized padded upper. The Capri Royale is a vulcanized product offering a clean and simple look that pairs well with any style, emphasizing a vintage feel with the aging treatment on the midsole, which is also applied to the Clyde and PUMA-180.
The PUMA TEAM apparel collection features styles that reinterpret the hip-hop fashion dominating the early 2000s street scene, along with retro color combinations. This season, Puma’s signature track suit, the T7, has been updated with a new sky blue color, and the pants have been updated with a wide silhouette to enhance the hip-hop mood. Additionally, the collection offers various items such as bomber jackets and V-neck pullovers emphasizing retro vibes with bold graphics, woven jackets that catch the eye with OG colorways, and anoraks.
