GS Retail announced on the 20th that it has partnered with Ediya Coffee for an eco-friendly delivery brokerage service.
On the 18th, GS Retail held a business agreement signing ceremony at its headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, attended by key officials including Kim Kyung-jin, Head of GS Retail Quick Commerce Division, and Hong Jae-beom, Head of Marketing at Ediya Coffee. The agreement focuses on promoting eco-friendly short-distance delivery services. Through this partnership, both companies plan to collaborate on ▲improving quality through short-distance delivery ▲reducing delivery cost burdens for franchise stores ▲activating online delivery order services to boost local economic development ▲practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management through eco-friendly delivery ▲and expanding synergy through various cooperative efforts.

First, the two companies plan to integrate the eco-friendly delivery brokerage platform 'Our Neighborhood Delivery' with Ediya Coffee’s delivery system by September. When consumers order Ediya Coffee through the delivery platform, the delivery information will be sent to GS25 franchise stores, and for short-distance orders, customers can choose Our Neighborhood Delivery to have general pedestrian couriers deliver the products.
GS Retail expects that 'Uchin' (general couriers) from Our Neighborhood Delivery will promptly handle Ediya Coffee’s short-distance orders, enhancing consumer satisfaction while reducing delivery cost burdens for franchise stores, thereby contributing to the activation of delivery orders and increased profits. Furthermore, expanding the eco-friendly pedestrian delivery service area will accelerate ESG management practices such as carbon emission reduction.
