He will return to a regular Korean Tour event after 1 year and 3 months since the Woori Financial Championship in May last year and the SK Telecom Open in June. He plays 1 to 2 rounds a week and practices by hitting 500 to 600 balls a day, making him a ‘practice addict.’ Park Chan-ho is known as a long hitter. His driver head speed has reached up to 137 miles per hour (220 km/h), faster than ‘Golf Emperor’ Tiger Woods (USA, 127 mph). His driver shot data, including head speed and ball speed, is on par with professional players.
Park Chan-ho carries the ball an average of over 300 yards. Including roll, he has the power to exceed 320 yards. He uses a driver with an 8.5-degree loft head and an 8TX shaft, a strong specification rarely seen. Park Chan-ho made his Korean Tour debut at the 2018 Huons Celebrity Pro-Am. He participates with a recommendation qualification after obtaining a certified handicap of 3 or below from the Korea Golf Association. He also hosts charity golf tournaments in both the U.S. and Korea.
