A Man in His 20s Wandering with a Weapon in Gwangju Chungjang-ro, Arrest Warrant Requested
An arrest warrant has been requested for a man in his 20s who was wandering around downtown Gwangju carrying a weapon.
The Gwangju Dongbu Police Station applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A on suspicion of attempted murder on the 17th.
The police stated that they considered the seriousness of the case.
Mr. A is accused of carrying a weapon while roaming a street in Chungjang-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at around 3:18 a.m. the previous day.
It was investigated that he took the weapon after getting angry over text messages exchanged with his girlfriend, which seemed to ignore him.
The police received a report from an acquaintance of Mr. A who witnessed the situation, searched the area, and arrested him on the spot within 15 minutes.
