LOONA's Chuu Wins Exclusive Contract Lawsuit
Conflict Over Profit Settlement and Other Issues
Chuu (real name Kim Ji-woo), a former member of the girl group LOONA, won a lawsuit regarding her exclusive contract with her former agency.
On the 17th, the 12th Civil Division of the Seoul Northern District Court (Chief Judge Jung Woo-jung) ruled in favor of Kim in the lawsuit she filed against her former agency Blockberry Creative, confirming that the exclusive contract is invalid.
Kim filed the lawsuit in December 2021 due to conflicts over profit settlement and other issues. The court referred the case to mediation in March, but it failed.
