Ministry of Culture Expects Expansion of Children and Family Audience
On the 17th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed Kim Il-ho, CEO of Ocon, as the chairman of the National Symphony Orchestra. The term is three years, until August 2026.
Kim, the newly appointed chairman who graduated from the Department of Industrial Design at Seoul National University, is a co-copyright holder of the famous character 'Pororo.' He has produced numerous cultural and artistic contents aimed at children and families, including the animation 'Gift Dinosaur Dibo.' He has also served as a director at the Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation and Sookmyung Cultural Foundation.
