SK Gas Launches Savings Product Offering Up to 7% Interest for Refueling Customers
SK Gas has launched a savings product with up to 7% interest for gas station customers.
On the 17th, SK Gas announced that it will release a financial product offering up to 7% interest in collaboration with Shinhan Bank and SK Energy to ease the economic burden on customers caused by high inflation.
The 'Shinhan SK LPG Solsolhan Happiness Savings' is a product exclusively for LPG taxi drivers or SK Happiness Charging membership customers who visit SK LPG gas stations. It offers a basic fixed deposit interest rate of 3%, with up to an additional 4% preferential interest rate based on charging performance.
Applications are available until December 29 nationwide through Shinhan Bank branches, the website, and the Shinhan SOL app. Individuals aged 18 or older can open one account each, with a total of up to 30,000 applicants allowed. The subscription period is 12 months.
The preferential interest rate based on gas station usage is applied during the 12-month savings period. If the VIP grade is achieved, 0.2% per month is applied up to 10 times, totaling 2%. The Happiness Charging membership VIP grade is earned by charging more than 150,000 KRW in the previous month, and members receive 0.7% Muffin Points and monthly charging coupons as a basic benefit.
Additionally, an extra 0.5% interest rate is applied for Happiness Charging membership, signing the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activity pledge, using the Shinhan SOL app, and agreeing to product and service marketing, respectively.
