산림청, Ilsan Kintex Hosts '2023 Wood Industry Expo'
The Korea Forest Service announced on the 17th that the '2023 Korea Wood Industry Expo' will be held from the 24th to the 27th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Ilsan.
Held concurrently with the Korea International Furniture & Interior Industry Fair (KOFURN), this expo is hosted by the Korea Forest Service and organized by the Korea Federation of Wood Industry Associations.
The Korea Forest Service expects that hosting the expo will serve as a catalyst to activate exchanges between the wood industry and related upstream and downstream industries, pioneering new markets for the domestic wood industry and spreading a culture of wood use in daily life.
Above all, the expo will play a role in raising public awareness of the importance of wood and building consensus, alongside the Korea Forest Service’s declaration of wooden architecture (on the 25th) aimed at achieving carbon neutrality and responding to climate change.
