Why Lee Hojun, Senior Vice Chairman of Junggyeonryeon, Appears on the 'Daebu' Poster
Participation in the 'Zero Disposable Products Challenge'
Lee Ho-jun, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of Medium-sized Enterprises (KFME), joined the Ministry of Environment's 'Zero Single-use Products Challenge.' On the 17th, KFME announced that it posted Lee Ho-jun's pledge to practice the 'challenge' and the poster on KFME's official Facebook page, following the nomination by Kim Young-tae, CEO of KORAIL Distribution.
Launched by Minister Han Hwa-jin of the Ministry of Environment on February 27, the 'Zero Single-use Products Challenge' is a Ministry-led campaign encouraging various sectors to reduce the use of single-use products and increase the use of reusable products to save resources and protect the environment. The campaign proceeds in a relay format where participants nominate successors.
To raise awareness of the 'challenge,' KFME created a poster borrowing the style of the movie 'The Godfather.' It symbolizes KFME's role as the 'center' of South Korea's economy, carrying a heavy responsibility for environmental issues, leading ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, and demonstrating leadership in spreading eco-friendly culture in daily life.
