Artist Lim created a 12-meter-tall giant Bear Balloon for the Lotte World Tower’s ‘SUMMEREST 2023’ event, which ran until the 13th. To match the event’s purpose of providing rest to visitors during the heatwave, the yellow Bear Balloon is inscribed with the word ‘REST’ to convey healing.
Lim said, “The greatest charm of the ‘EVERYWHERE Project’ is that people can encounter artworks like unexpected gifts without having to go to a museum.” She added, “I am delighted to hold the Bear Balloon exhibition at Lotte World Tower, Korea’s representative landmark, and I hope visitors enjoy happiness and comfortable rest with the Bear Balloon.”
