Onnuri gift certificates can now be used at Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 16th that the first-floor retail area and the second-floor restaurant zone of Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market have been designated as a "Golmok-type Shopping District," allowing the use of Onnuri gift certificates.

View original imageThe Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries have cooperated to resolve the issue of using Onnuri gift certificates in seafood wholesale markets through the Golmok-type Shopping District system under the "Special Act on the Promotion of Traditional Markets and Shopping Districts" to promote seafood consumption.
On the same day, Deputy Minister Oh Gi-ung of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Deputy Minister Park Seong-hoon of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries visited Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market, purchased seafood directly using Onnuri gift certificates, and listened to the merchants' opinions.
Deputy Minister Oh said, "Since Onnuri gift certificates are sold at a constant discount of 5-10%, this measure is expected to have a twofold effect: price discounts for customers visiting Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market and increased sales for merchants."
