Ulsan City Conducts 2nd Training Program for Reserve Quarantine Personnel... Targeting District and County Health Center Staff
Ulsan City will conduct the 2023 2nd phase preliminary quarantine personnel training for two days from the 16th to the 17th at the seminar room of Ulsan Stars Hotel.
The participants include 17 employees from the city and district/county public health centers, and 10 instructors including Associate Professor Ok Minsu from the Department of Preventive Medicine at Ulsan University Hospital will participate as lecturers.
The training content includes △ basic concepts and approaches of epidemiology △ use of programs and practice for epidemiological investigations △ understanding of epidemiological investigations of waterborne and foodborne infectious diseases △ demonstration of how to put on and take off personal protective equipment.
An official from Ulsan City stated, “We will strengthen the preliminary quarantine personnel training to immediately deploy the relevant public officials as response personnel in the event of an infectious disease crisis.”

Following the 1st phase (13 people) in May, Ulsan City will conduct the 2nd phase this time, the 3rd phase (14 people) in October, and the 4th phase (14 people) in November for preliminary quarantine personnel training.
