Hampyeong-gun Strengthens Crackdown on Illegal Parking and Stopping in Hampyeong-eup
On the 15th, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will strengthen CCTV monitoring to eradicate illegal parking and stopping in the Hampyeong-eup area.
Currently, traffic congestion in Hampyeong-eup is worsening due to the increase in private cars, and double-sided parking is rampant after 6 p.m., the CCTV monitoring grace period, causing increased inconvenience for residents.
Accordingly, starting from October 2, the county will expand CCTV monitoring from the previous operation hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to 24-hour monitoring, and shorten the stopping grace period from 30 minutes to 20 minutes to strengthen enforcement.
However, alternate-week parking on Jungang-ro and monitoring exemptions on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays will continue as before.
