Jindo-gun Conducts Second Half Jindo Dog Judge Training Program
Expectations for Strengthening Expertise in Jindo Dog Lineage Preservation and Management
Jindo County in Jeollanam-do is establishing and operating a Jindo Dog Judge Training Course to preserve and manage the Jindo Dog bloodline and to train judges equipped with professional knowledge and expertise.
According to the county on the 14th, the training is divided into the first and second halves of the year. The first half focused on practical and substantial education to help participants understand dog shows, including steward duties essential for smooth dog show operations and judging regulations.
Jindo County is conducting training for Jindo dog judges in the second half of the year.

The second half of the training is scheduled to be held four times in September and October, covering topics such as the history of pet culture, understanding of Jindo Dogs, canine anatomy, and judging techniques to provide an in-depth understanding of Jindo Dogs and objective judging methods.
Anyone who loves Jindo Dogs and is a resident of Jindo County can apply regardless of educational background, age, or gender.
The application period is until the 1st of next month, and applications can be submitted by visiting the Jindo Dog Livestock and Bloodline Management Team or by phone.
A representative from the Jindo Dog Livestock Division of Jindo County stated, “We expect this training to foster professional judges and improve their qualifications,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to preserve the Jindo Dog bloodline and establish a proper companion dog culture.”
