The Gyeongbuk Office of Education reported that strong winds from Typhoon Khanun, the 6th typhoon of the season, caused damage to educational facilities at nine schools, including Gyeongju Oedong Middle School, and they are making every effort to restore the facilities.
On the 10th, when most schools were on vacation as they were directly affected by Typhoon Khanun, schools that were in session switched to closure and remote classes to prepare for the typhoon's impact.
At Gyeongbuk Cheongsong Automotive High School, recovery work is underway due to flooding caused by the overflow of the orchard drainage ditch next to the school fence.
