Kakao Supports Jamboree Together with Kakao Entertainment
Gift of Kakao Friends Character Products Worth 1 Billion Won
Concert Participation by IVE, NCT DREAM, and Others
Kakao announced on the 11th that it will support the ‘2023 25th World Scout Jamboree (hereinafter Jamboree)’ together with Kakao Entertainment. Kakao will gift Jamboree participants with Kakao Friends character products worth 1 billion KRW, and artists from Kakao Entertainment’s music labels will participate in the ‘K-pop Super Live’.
The gifts provided by Kakao consist of a total of about 30 types and 43,000 character products. In celebration of the 2023-2024 Visit Korea Year, the gifts include popular Kakao Friends items that allow participants to experience Korean culture, such as the Kakao Friends Yutnori set, a Ryan doll dressed as a Seonbi (scholar), a Chunsik mother-of-pearl phone grip, as well as power banks, cushions, keyrings, and air fresheners.
Kakao will randomly include one Kakao Friends product in the ‘World Jamboree K-pop Super Live Concert Remember Kit’ prepared by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and distribute it to all participants attending the concert.
Artists from Kakao Entertainment’s music labels will perform in large numbers at today’s ‘K-pop Super Live’. They have united to create special memories for Jamboree participants visiting Korea from around the world. Global popular idol groups participating include Monsta X’s unit ‘Shownu X Hyungwon’, THE BOYZ, the representative 4th generation girl group IVE, ATBO, and NCT DREAM from SM Entertainment, which has become part of Kakao.

Additionally, Kakao invited about 230 Jamboree participants to the Kakao Pangyo Agit this morning for an office tour. Jamboree participants from Finland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, the Philippines, and other countries will tour key facilities and experience programs such as the image generation AI ‘Karlo’ demonstration.
