Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College, Recruiting Students for 2nd Semester Lifelong Education Courses
Activation of Cooking Education Curriculum through Kitchen Improvement
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will begin accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. on the 14th through the Geochang College Lifelong Education Center and International Cooperation Center websites for the second semester of the 2023 lifelong education courses commissioned by Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College.
The Lifelong Education Center has organized a total of 12 vocational competency training courses, including one new course: ▲Leather Craft ▲Watercolor Calligraphy ▲Palm Garden ▲Anti-aging Healing Cooking ▲Healing Laughter Instructor. It also offers a total of 12 humanities, liberal arts, and cultural arts education courses, including two new courses: ▲Real Estate Academy ▲Digital Interior Design ▲Dad’s Table ▲The Man Who Paints Taste ▲Cafe Desserts ▲YouTube Creator.
The International Cooperation Center has organized courses in ▲English ▲Japanese ▲Chinese ▲French.
Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College has designed courses based on annual surveys conducted among students to ensure learner-centered lifelong education by focusing on courses with high interest and demand.
In particular, this year, with financial support of 340 million KRW from Geochang-gun, a new cooking lab was built and classrooms were improved, allowing students to take cooking courses in a better learning environment.
Gu In-mo, the county governor, said, “The lifelong education courses commissioned to Gyeongnam Provincial Geochang College are education for all residents of the county. The addition of new courses tailored to demand each year and systematic operation have received high approval from residents,” adding, “I hope many residents enjoy the joy of learning through lifelong education courses.”
