Phoenix, Nell, Saesoyon, Lee Seung-yoon, Imase, H1-KEY and 20 Teams from 4 Countries Announced
Busan City has announced the lineup of 20 acts for the country's longest-running rock music festival, the '2023 Busan International Rock Festival,' which will be held at Samnak Ecological Park from October 7 to 8.
This is the first phase of the lineup announcement, with the second and third phases scheduled to be revealed later.
The first lineup, announced on the 10th, features dazzling artists from four countries, including ▲French alternative rock band 'Phoenix,' ▲South Korea's representative modern rock band 'Nell,' and ▲Japanese singer-songwriter 'Imase.'
The French four-member rock band 'Phoenix' will visit Korea for the first time in five years since 2018, showcasing the essence of elegant French rock.
Japanese rising singer-songwriter 'Imase,' who has been actively collaborating with Korean artists recently, is the creator of 'Night Dancer,' which has garnered over 1.3 billion views on the mobile video platform TikTok.
The two-member synth-pop band 'Hype' from Thailand, one of the country's most emerging acts, will also visit Busan.
In addition, the stage will be graced by various performers such as ▲'Se So Neon,' who recently completed a successful North American tour, ▲singer-songwriter and Singer Again winner 'Lee Seung Yoon,' ▲glam rock band 'Eve,' which debuted in 1998, and ▲'Silica Gel,' known for their new and bold sound.
‘Early bird tickets,’ which allow enjoying the Busan International Rock Festival at a discounted price, will be available from 12 PM on the 10th, and official tickets will be sold from 12 PM on the 11th through 'Yes24 Tickets.'
The official ticket prices are 110,000 KRW for a one-day pass and 165,000 KRW for a two-day pass.
Early bird tickets are offered at a 20% discount compared to official tickets, with the discount applied only to the two-day pass (132,000 KRW).
Last year, the early bird tickets for the Busan International Rock Festival sold out in about five minutes, proving the high interest of citizens in the festival.
