Medytox Appoints Director Kim Jaewook as Head of Medical Division
Experts with Experience and Know-How in the Field of Skin Beauty Treatment
On the 9th, Medytox announced that it has recruited Director Kim Jae-wook, an expert in the field of dermatological cosmetic treatments, as the executive officer in charge of the Medical Headquarters.
Director Kim Jae-wook graduated from Korea University College of Medicine, earned a master's degree from the same graduate school, and is a specialist who has worked at Korea University Anam Hospital's Department of Family Medicine, BK Plastic Surgery, and served as the academic director of the Korean Society for Laser Dermatology and Hair. He later served as the head of the Medical Headquarters at Hugel, demonstrating his capabilities by creating academic forums to share the latest trends in cosmetic surgery and treatment methods. Until recently, he was the Medical Head for the North Asia region at the multinational pharmaceutical company Alcon Korea.
Director Kim, head of the Medical Headquarters, said, "I am very honored to become a member of Medytox, which possesses the world's best research and development (R&D) capabilities and technology in the field of dermatological cosmetic treatments, including toxin formulations," adding, "I will contribute to Medytox's global leap by establishing global-level medical information programs and a systematic academic support system."
With the addition of Director Kim Jae-wook, Medytox plans to accelerate its entry into the global market by building more systematic academic programs and systems.
Meanwhile, to enter advanced global markets, Medytox plans to submit an application for approval of its non-animal liquid toxin formulation 'MT10109L' to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) within this year. Additionally, it is also promoting the construction of a local manufacturing plant in Dubai, which will serve as a foothold for entry into the Middle East and European markets.
