The Vietnam SOS Children's Village is a facility where President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife visited in June and donated bicycles to the children.
The corporation invited local dentists to provide lectures and experiential programs for children on proper toothbrushing methods and dietary habits for dental health. Along with this, they donated 150 sets of toothpaste and toothbrushes, as well as school supplies such as bags.
The lecturer who conducted this children's education is known to be a local client of the Vietnam branch. A representative of Osstem Implant Vietnam stated, "The dental clinic director sympathized with Osstem Implant's corporate philosophy and pursued values and volunteered to take the lead."
Myung-geun Lee, head of Osstem Implant Vietnam, explained the purpose of this educational campaign, saying, "According to data published by a Vietnamese dental association, 86.4% of children aged 6 to 8 in Vietnam have cavities. In such an environment, children who do not receive parental care find it even more difficult to receive proper treatment and are inevitably exposed to dental diseases."
