Gwangju Buk-gu Operates Healing Workshop for 224 Local Youth
On the 9th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will operate the Youth Healing Workshop for local young people.
The Youth Healing Workshop is a youth program designed to provide a moment of rest and healing for the minds of young people tired from daily life, such as preparing for employment.
This Healing Workshop is conducted in connection with local youth workshops to help revitalize the neighborhood commercial district, and two programs are prepared: 'Healing with Food' and 'Healing with Crafts,' which allow participants to relieve stress through communication beyond simple experiences.
'Healing with Food' covers themes such as ▲brunch ▲coffee ▲baking ▲wine and will be held from the 16th of this month to the 9th of next month at the Youth Local Creator Lounge. 'Healing with Crafts' covers themes such as ▲glass ▲rattan ▲candles ▲aromatherapy and will be held as one-day classes from the 30th of this month to the 23rd of next month at the Buk-gu Youth Center.
The program will be offered 32 times with 6 to 8 participants per session. The target participants are 224 young people residing or active in Buk-gu, and those who wish to participate can apply on the Buk-gu Youth Center website by the 22nd of this month.
