Shinhan Bank Supports 100,000 Beverages at Saemangeum Jamboree Site
Shinhan Bank announced on the 7th that it will urgently provide 100,000 ion drinks to the site of the ‘2023 Saemangeum World Scout Jamboree,’ which is facing difficulties due to the heatwave.
The Jamboree is an international youth camping event held every four years by the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It started on the 1st in Saemangeum, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk, but is experiencing difficulties due to the heatwave and other factors.
Shinhan Bank decided to provide support to ensure the safe activities and smooth progress for the scout members, staff, and volunteers. The 100,000 ion drinks will be promptly delivered through the Korean Red Cross.
Additionally, to support the rest of the scout members participating in the Jamboree, the ‘Blue Campus’ training center located in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, will be made available if needed.
