Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Operates Summer Water Play Safety Experience Class
Gwangsan Fire Station in Gwangju recently announced on the 7th that it operated a water safety experience class for vacationers visiting the Imgokgyo stream.
They provided guidance on safety rules for each water play location and how to respond in case of safety accidents, offering practical methods that can be used in daily life.
There was also a session to experience cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in response to cardiac arrest patients.
Meanwhile, according to Statistics Korea, drowning accidents sharply increase in July and August when more vacationers visit beaches and valleys to escape the heat.
