Korea Federation of SMEs Holds 'Yellow Umbrella Life On-site Photo Contest'
Anyone Enrolled in the Noryan Usan Gongje Can Participate
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced that it will hold the "3rd Yellow Umbrella Life On-Site Photo Contest" until October 31. This contest's theme is "The Moment Now" in the work and life scenes of small businesses and small merchants. Digital photo works are accepted, and anyone subscribed to the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid can participate online through the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid website.
Among the submitted works, a total of 50 pieces will be selected through judging, including 1 grand prize winner, 2 excellence award winners, and 10 merit award winners. The winning works will be specially exhibited for two weeks on the first floor of the Federation of Small and Medium Business building in Yeouido and will be used to promote the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid.
Park Yong-man, Head of the Mutual Aid Operations Division at the Federation of Small and Medium Business, said, "The Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid has grown together with small businesses and small merchants as a social safety net." He added, "Through this photo contest, we hope to showcase the intense moments experienced by small businesses and small merchants in various life scenes and to encourage them."

Meanwhile, the Yellow Umbrella Mutual Aid, operated by the Federation of Small and Medium Business, has had 1.7 million registered subscribers among small businesses and small merchants since its launch in 2007. It serves as a social safety net for small businesses and small merchants by offering up to 5 million KRW in annual income tax deductions and protection from seizure of mutual aid funds.
