Report Received for Threatening Message "Parliament Armed Rampage if DC Closes"... Police Investigation Underway
A report was received by the police that a threatening post stating that there would be a violent attack with weapons in the National Assembly if the online community DC Inside is shut down.
According to the police on the 4th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul received a report at around 4:10 PM that day about a terror threat post on the online community DC Inside targeting the National Assembly.
The author posted a message titled "If DC is shut down, I will stab the National Assembly, killing those National Assembly XX with a knife," and wrote, "It's real. If shut down, I will kill the National Assembly members XX at night with a knife."
The police are tracking the author by analyzing the internet protocol (IP) address and other data.
At the National Assembly, police are on constant duty with two riot squads and two female police teams equipped with gear during the day.
