Damyang-gun and Naju-si 10 Nonghyup Executives and Employees Mutual Donation for Hometown Love Donation System
Over 160 Employees Participate: "Actively Seeking Cooperation Measures for Mutual Growth"
Employees of the Nonghyup branches in Damyang-gun and Naju-si, Jeollanam-do, participated in the Hometown Love Donation Program to promote mutual development between the two local governments.
According to the county on the 3rd, this mutual donation was carried out by five Nonghyup branches in Damyang, Jeollanam-do, and five Nonghyup branches in Naju, with about 160 employees from both regions participating.
At the donation ceremony held on the 1st, attendees included Oh Jeong-yoon, head of the Damyang-gun branch of the Nonghyup Central Association, and cooperative heads Kim Sang-yong (Geumseong Nonghyup), Choi Yong-gyu (Daejeon Nonghyup), Na Seung-su (Mujeong Nonghyup), Park Yo-jin (Bongsan Nonghyup), and Park Tae-sik (Changpyeong Nonghyup).
From the Naju Nonghyup side, representatives including Shin Kyung-hoon, head of the Naju-si branch of the Nonghyup Central Association, cooperative heads Lee Eun-sang (Seji Nonghyup), Kim Seung-bae (Gongsan Nonghyup), Lee Dong-hyun (Donggang Nonghyup), Park Ha-sik (Geumcheon Nonghyup), Song Jeong-hoon (Bonghwang Nonghyup), and employee representatives attended the event.
During the ceremony, they discussed specific cooperation plans for promoting the Hometown Love Donation Program and exchanged various opinions on the agricultural policies being pursued by the two local governments.
Oh Jeong-yoon, head of the Damyang-gun branch, stated, “The Nonghyup will actively seek various measures to ensure the successful establishment of the Hometown Love Donation Program, which revitalizes the local economy.”

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments (metropolitan or basic) other than their place of residence. Donations up to 100,000 KRW are fully tax-deductible, and amounts exceeding that receive a 16.5% tax credit, with thank-you gifts provided up to 30% of the donation amount.
