Gwangju Bank is contributing to the prevention of heat-related illnesses by operating 'Heatwave Shelters.'
On the 2nd, Gwangju Bank announced that it is operating 'Heatwave Shelters' during business hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at all 130 branches in Gwangju, Jeonnam, and the metropolitan area.
Cool drinking water and fans are also provided free of charge to help cool down from the heat.
In fact, at the Gwangju Bank Hakdong Branch on the same day, elderly people gathered in small groups to cool off and exchange kind words. It was reported that more people than usual visited due to the heatwave.
