KB Securities Launches 'Credit and Loan Interest Rate Reduction Season 2' Event
Prime Center Consignment Account Offers Credit and Loan Interest Rate of 4.2%... Available for 60 Days
KB Securities announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Credit and Loan Interest Rate Reduction Season 2' event to reduce customers' financial burdens during the high-interest rate period and in the gradually recovering domestic stock market environment.
This event is targeted at new KB Securities customers or existing customers who have had no credit or loan transactions or no credit or loan balances at the Prime Center (non-face-to-face, bank-linked) personal accounts from May 1 to July 14 of this year, and will run until September 30.
The first benefit offers a credit and loan interest rate of 4.2% per annum for 60 days starting from the next business day after applying for the event. After the event interest rate period, the credit and loan interest rates of the Prime Center stock trading commission preferential account will apply without separate notice.
The second benefit provides a cash reward to a total of 114 people through a lottery when they transfer domestic stocks from other companies to the event application account and meet the loan balance requirements during the event period. The rewards are as follows: KRW 2.5 million for one person with a deposit and loan balance of KRW 200 million or more; KRW 1.2 million for three people with a deposit and loan balance of KRW 100 million or more; KRW 500,000 for ten people with a deposit and loan balance of KRW 50 million or more; and KRW 100,000 for 100 people with a deposit and loan balance of KRW 10 million or more. Duplicate winnings are not allowed, and customers are responsible for a 22% tax and public charges.
Application for the event is mandatory and can be made through a Prime Center entrusted account eligible for stock trading, limited to one account per person. However, customers who applied for the 2023 Credit and Loan Interest Rate Reduction Season 1 event (February 24 to April 30, 2023), customers receiving Prestige preferential rates or negotiated rates, and branch accounts are excluded from the event application.
