Korea MS Appoints Jo Won-woo, CEO of Megazone Cloud, as New Representative
Microsoft has appointed Jo Won-woo, CEO of Megazone Cloud, as the new CEO of Microsoft Korea. The official inauguration date is the 21st of this month.
CEO Jo is an expert with over 25 years of experience in the B2B industry, including cloud, digital solutions, and enterprise software. Before joining Microsoft Korea, he served as CEO of Megazone Cloud and GE Digital Korea. He has also worked at global companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cisco Systems.
CEO Jo will oversee Microsoft Korea's business. He plans to focus on supporting digital transformation and continuous innovation across domestic companies, communities, and the nation through cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Ahmed Mazhari, President of Microsoft Asia, said, "Korea is one of the most dynamic markets in the Asia region, leading AI innovation," adding, "We expect CEO Jo, who has extensive experience, to lead the next chapter better than anyone else."
