Launched in 2019 by Shilla Duty Free, Shilla Trip is a travel open market platform where customers can purchase products such as transportation passes, activities, local tours, and admission tickets usable overseas at affordable prices. The service was temporarily suspended in November 2021 due to COVID-19.
In response to the increasing demand for overseas travel with the endemic phase, Shilla Duty Free partnered with travel portal service company Norangpungseon to revamp and reopen Shilla Trip as a platform specializing exclusively in 'activity' products.
To commemorate the reopening, various events are being held. The first 100 customers who purchase Small World Tokyo admission tickets on Shilla Trip will receive a 1+1 benefit, and the first 30 customers who purchase Universal Studios Japan admission tickets will be given a Japan eSIM together. Additionally, customers who enter the prize event will be selected by lottery to receive ▲a Parkview dining voucher for two at The Shilla Seoul (3 winners) and ▲a 50,000 KRW voucher for Pastry Boutique (5 winners).
Within this month, Shilla Duty Free plans to sell local tours and admission ticket products for Japan and Thailand, the countries most frequently visited by its customers, at the lowest price levels. In addition to these countries, monthly themed promotions will be held by selecting different themes each month.
