Daegu Mid-sized Company SL Chairman Lee Chung-gon Donates 100 Million Won for Flood Relief Fund
Daegu Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Suhak) announced on the 31st that SL Co., Ltd. (Chairman Lee Chunggon) donated 100 million won to help neighbors affected by the heavy rain damage.
SL Co., Ltd. is a leading automotive parts manufacturing mid-sized company in the region. Through Chairman Lee Chunggon's personal donation of 30 billion won, the SL Seobong Foundation was established in December 2005, making it a ‘sharing prestigious company’ in Daegu that carries out sharing activities across the local community, including donations for neighborly love as well as culture, arts, and sports.
In particular, to support the region that endured difficult times due to COVID-19, the company donated 1 billion won each in 2021 and 2022, establishing itself as a representative sharing company in the area. This generous donation, made without a separate delivery event, will be used to support flood-affected areas in accordance with the Disaster Relief Act.
