SKIET broadened the scope of environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) disclosures, previously focused on domestic sites, to include overseas operations in China and Poland. Newly incorporated global ESG data include ▲environmental management strategies by site ▲ESG consulting support for partners ▲external ESG evaluation results.
By utilizing the report that proactively reflects non-financial information disclosure standards, SKIET plans to actively respond to ESG information requests from global clients. Currently, SKIET is experiencing increased collaboration with overseas clients, and the proportion of employees at overseas sites has risen from 56% in 2020 to 76% in 2022, highlighting the growing importance of its global business.
SKIET also enhanced accessibility by establishing a dedicated ESG page on its website. Various ESG data, such as energy consumption, can be viewed and downloaded. This is expected to enable systematic information delivery tailored to the perspectives of clients, investors, and stakeholders. SKIET plans to continuously disclose information using this platform going forward.
