20 Teams Advance to October Finals
KT is hosting an AI hackathon competition to find hidden talents who will lead the artificial intelligence (AI) business sector.
KT's AI hackathon, 'AI Play 2023,' is entering its fourth year. Applications are open to all employees from the 31st of this month until the 11th of next month, with preliminary rounds followed by the finals scheduled for October.
Participants will form teams of up to four members to compete in the preliminary round. A total of 20 teams will advance to the final round to compete in comprehensive digital capabilities.
The preliminary round will focus on a prediction task related to 'data identification and classification of services within the KT Group.' In the finals, participating teams will generate various improvement ideas useful for work, products, services, and daily life, and propose improvement plans utilizing AI.
Notably, this year's competition will reflect the latest 2023 trends by holding the finals with a theme centered on generative AI.
