Exergy21 Absorbs IT Total Solution Company AinsysINC... Moves to Diversify Business
Exergy21 announced on the 28th that it will absorb and merge its recently acquired subsidiary, Ainsys INC.
This move aims to enhance management efficiency and improve the financial structure. After the merger, Exergy21 will remain as the surviving company, and Ainsys INC will be dissolved. The merger date is set for October 31.
Founded in 2011, Ainsys INC is a specialized IT total solution company, including IT infrastructure. It supplies various hardware for building IT infrastructure such as servers, storage, and network equipment, and provides rental, data deletion, equipment relocation, and integrated maintenance services. As a specialist in used server equipment recycling and TPM (third-party maintenance), it is the only domestic company listed in the Gartner Market Guide.
Major clients include various government agencies, KT, Megazone Cloud, Naver System, Namoo Tech, as well as overseas global maintenance companies such as Park Place Technologies, Nordic Computer, and Exeo Global.
Currently, it is registered and active as an official member of the global maintenance association SIA (Service Industry Association). As of 2022, it recorded approximately KRW 19.6 billion in sales, about KRW 700 million in operating profit, and about KRW 700 million in net profit. It plans to further expand growth potential through AI security solutions (network detection and response) business in the future.
Exergy21 has established a foothold for business diversification through this merger. It plans to expand its core business based on Ainsys INC’s recognized IT infrastructure construction capabilities, sales power, and network.
An Exergy21 representative stated, "We will strive not only to strengthen the company’s competitiveness through external growth and stable profit structure but also to enhance shareholder value," adding, "From November, when the merger is completed, Ainsys INC’s performance will be reflected in the separate financial statements."
