Muan-gun Provides Public Jobs for Vulnerable Groups
Implementation of Financial Support Job Projects in the Second Half of the Year
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) will implement the 2023 second half fiscal support job project, starting with the work of participants selected for the fiscal support job project on the 1st of next month.
According to the county on the 28th, the fiscal support job project is a program that provides public jobs to vulnerable groups to establish a financial independence foundation and to encourage work motivation.
The second half of this year's fiscal support job project plans to select a total of 106 participants, with 89 in the public work project and 17 in the community job project, and assign them to public workplaces.
Participants in the public work project will engage in 56 projects such as public service support and environmental cleanup, while participants in the community job project will participate in 8 projects including the transmission of local traditional skills and child learning support by female native speakers. The second half project is scheduled to run from the 1st of next month to November 30th.
Jo Su-jeong, Director of Future Growth Division, said, "As the project starts in the summer season, we plan to focus on safety and health education to prepare for heat waves and safety accidents, and we will do our best to ensure the smooth progress of the project."
Meanwhile, in this second half recruitment, 82 participants were selected for the public work project and 17 for the community job project. Additional applications for 7 positions in 5 underfilled public work projects can be submitted to the town or township office of the applicant's address by the 2nd of next month, and additional selected participants are expected to join the project from mid-next month.
