Water Outage in Ulsan Mugeo-dong Area... 5 Hours at Dawn on the 1st of Next Month
Ulsan Waterworks Headquarters "Temporary Cloudy Water Occurrence"
Water supply will be cut off in some areas of Mugeo-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan.
The Ulsan City Waterworks Headquarters announced on the 28th that the water supply will be suspended for about 5 hours from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. on August 1 around Ulsan National University in Mugeo-dong.
This water outage is being carried out to verify whether the block system established for the efficient maintenance of the water pipe network in Mugeo 2-block is properly isolated. Temporary cloudy water may occur due to work related to block isolation verification.
To prevent damage from cloudy water, apartment complexes and large buildings using water storage tanks should fill them with tap water in advance.
During the work hours on the day, the inflow valve of the storage tank must be closed, and before opening the inflow valve, the occurrence of cloudy water should be checked.
For single-family houses and multi-family households, it is recommended to store domestic water in basins or bathtubs in advance and to discharge sufficiently before use if cloudy water occurs.
A Waterworks Headquarters official said, “We will minimize inconvenience to citizens by scheduling the water outage during early morning hours and strive to prevent cloudy water or water pressure drops as much as possible.”
