On the afternoon of the 27th, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor Choi Ho-gwon attended the ‘Vietnam War Veterans Association National Health Danjo’ event held in the main conference room of the Singil 7-dong Community Center.
Danjo is a compound word of ‘dance’ and ‘exercise,’ and it is an easy-to-follow workout set to exciting music from various genres that anyone can enjoy.
The event was hosted by the Yeongdeungpo-gu branch of the Vietnam War Veterans Association, with about 70 members and their families attending. Mayor Choi experienced and promoted Danjo together with the National Health Danjo demonstration team.

Mayor Choi Ho-gwon of Yeongdeungpo-gu said, “The Danjo we learned together today is a comprehensive exercise effective for both physical and mental health. I hope it will greatly help in training the body and mind and maintaining health.” He added, “Furthermore, we will do our best to support so that those who dedicated themselves to the Republic of Korea as it is today can have a comfortable and healthy time without forgetting their noble sacrifices.”
